What’s New For You In 2022

2022 has been really interesting so far. After an 18-year hiatus, I’m resuming my work toward my flight instructor rating, because I love to learn, love to teach, and love being off the ground. This picture was taken after an intense 2 days and 10.0 hours of flying to earn my complex airplane endorsement. By the time you read this, I’ll have all the ground instructor ratings, and I’ll be launching a new video series called 121.Mike, to teach people about all things flying. My logo is laced with plenty of ground symbology.

The first video in the series explains how to use the Sporty’s electronic E6B. I made this video before I’d earned any ground instructor ratings, so it’s somewhat not about flying, but I decided to rope it in and consider it the first of my 121.Mike series.

I made that E6B video because the learning curve with that flight computer is really steep, and there wasn’t a good video anywhere online. That video actually goes live on the 18th anniversary of my Private Pilot’s License, somewhat by coincidence. My hope is that you feel that my video on the E6B is the best one on the internet.

There’s another big thing coming in 2022, but I’m going to save that post for later. Over & Out.
